Our wild honey is collected in the 'Beira', at the western region of Portugal's mainland, obtained through an experimental practice of transhumance. This collection technique benefits from the different blooms, which include seven varieties of Heather, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Tojo, Hollyhock, Thyme and Borage. This honey has a very soft and delicate flavour, preferred by most consumers. It has a worldwide recognition for its health benefits such as capabilities to provide strengthening of the immune system, antitussive, antiseptic, antioxidant properties and also providing help in remineralizing.
Suggestions
This is a unique honey experience without the addition of any other ingredient for the lovers of pure honey. It's idealy enjoyed with salad dressings or grilled tilapia fish, Moroccan chicken, or in desserts such as yoghurt mousse with roses, coconut cake, pear muffins, chocolate with almonds, lavender cupcakes, Lavender Panna Cotta, and brownies. It also is an excellent addition to whisky or lemonade drinks.
